Our brows are the most important factor that determines the characteristic structure of our faces. Brows add meaning to the gaze of a person, it changes a person’s facial expressions fundamentally and in essence, it reflects our inner selves to the outer world.
This is as described in the FUE technique. In men, the acquisition is made from the neck, as usual, but this is different for women. Since appearance is a key factor for women, it is impossible to completely shave the hair. For this reason, the hair in t he neck area of the patient is divided into parts and a rectangular portion is shaved to acquire follicles.
The area that is shaved will not be apparent when the hair is let down and the fact a portion is shaved will not become a problem thanks to this method. After a few months of growth, the area recovers and becomes a natural part of the hair texture.
The area where the transplantation is going to be applied is determined according to the golden ratio. Then, local anesthesia is performed.
The angle of the hair follicles is determined and they are inserted using minimum-sized pen tips to the transplantation site. Since the number of extracted follicles are less in number in comparison to the hair transplantation (about 750-1000 grafts), the whole process takes about 3-5 hours.
Only the first four months after the process, the eyebrows can only be tidied using scissors, and threading should be avoided. After 8-12 months, the eyebrows take the intended form and they can be tidied using any method that the patient desires.
Since eyebrow transplantations are made using a person’s own hair, there are no side effects. The performed eyebrow transplantations are permanent and the transplanted hair will completely adapt to the transplantation area.
